What to Bring - Do's

• Pillows, sheets, blanket, comforter or bedspread, and mattress pad.
• Curtains to hang as a cover for your closet (if you live in Watson)
• Flashlight
• Posters and pictures for walls (Nails, drilling, and double-sided tape are not allowed. Poster putty is recommended.)
• Laundry basket and detergent
• Iron and small ironing board (An iron with an automatic shutoff is strongly recommended. Ironing is permitted only on an ironing board, not on your bed, desk, or carpet.
• Crates, under-bed storage boxes, or a trunk (most beds are 12 inches above the floor)
• Alarm Clock
• Telephone and Answering machine
• Trash can
• Power strip with surge protector (maximum of one per person: must have surge protection, on/off switch, and be Underwriter's Laboratory (UL) approved)
• Hot pot, and/or coffee maker, plastic dishes, utensils, can opener, liquid dish detergent, and sponge (Open coil cooking appliances are prohibited.)
• Fan
• Shower supply caddy/basket
• Address book of family and friends, including email addresses
• Extra set of car keys
• Prescriptions, up-to-date, filled, including glasses and contacts
