Parents may stay on campus during SOAR in "SOAR Parent Housing" for an additional charge to experience residence hall living. SOAR Parent Housing is adjacent to the student housing in Eagle Village. The parent/guest SOAR fee does
NOT cover the overnight stay on campus. Provided for parents: sheets, pillows, a blanket, soap and towels.
Fees and Reservations:
Per night fees for SOAR Parent Housing: $45 for 1-2 people, $60 for 3 people in a suite, and $75 for 4 people in the suite (tax included). Accepted forms of payment are credit card, check and money order. Please select the link below to complete the SOAR Parent Housing reservation form which will allow you to (1) indicate the date(s) you are staying, (2) the number of individuals you will need housing for, and (3) make your payment for the housing.
Extra Housing for Parents
When registering for SOAR Parent Housing, you will be given the option to sign up for 1-2 days prior, the night of SOAR, and 1-2 days after as part of your application. Extra nights of housing is limited and based upon availability. For more information, please contact the SOAR Housing Staff at

If your student is also coming early/staying late, they will need to complete the student early arrival form separately from you and pay their extra fees (please see above). The student early arrival sign up will begin in April.
ADA or Special Accommodations
If you need special accommodations for yourself or your student, please contact the SOAR Housing staff once you have completed your registration. You can send an email to
soarhousing@georgiasouthern.edu with the requested accommodation. Please include your student's Eagle ID and the SOAR Parent Housing Confirmation Number with your request. Requests must be received at least 2 weeks prior to your SOAR Session.
