Roommate Matching

We are sorry for any inconvenience, our roommate searching site is undergoing some renovations and will be down for a while. Information will be sent to your email address on file with the Admissions Office when it is available.

Once you have completed an online application for on-campus housing, you will be eligible to use GSU’s online roommate matching service – Lifetopia. The Lifetopia program will allow you to: create and update a personal profile with lifestyle questions, photos, and personal facts about yourself, to search and browse the profiles of other students who have applied to Georgia Southern, and to communicate with those students to determine if he/she would be someone with whom you would want to be roommates.

Once you find your roommate, you can deactivate your profile so that others do not contact you or you can leave it active and just talk with other incoming GSU students.

Be sure to remember, once you find someone, you will need to update your housing application to let us know. Both roommates will need to

  1. Request the other person using his/her Eagle ID number and
  2. Make sure to list the same five hall preferences in the same order!
