At Georgia Southern, we have put a lot of thought and development into our residence
hall communities. We have researched many different types of communities and realize
the benefit of offering a variety of choices for students. The decision about how to
rank your housing preferences should be based on several factors, including the
amenities of each residence hall and projected costs. But in addition to the physical
features and costs, you need to consider the different types of communities in the
various residence halls. These communities range from structured, academically
oriented communities to those that have no pre-determined community orientation and
are organized based upon who is eligible to live there.
