Break Housing is available to students who wish to stay on-campus during the break between Spring and Summer (Term A or Long Term) who are currently living on campus and also have an active Summer A or Long Term housing assignment. Break Housing provides space for students from May 10th-May 15th. The cost for break housing is $100 and students must sign up for break housing in order to stay in their space.

Students are required to move from their Spring assignment to their summer assignment (if different) on Monday, May 11th from 9am - Noon. If you are not available to move at this time, then you will need to make other arrangements for your break housing needs and must check out of your Spring housing by the published date (May 9th) and you can return on May 15th at Noon to officially check in.

Students must sign up for Break housing by May 1st at 5pm. Students who sign up after May 1st will be charged a $50 late fee in addition to their break housing fees.

STORAGE

Students who will be staying in the same space for Long Term or Summer Term A as they are currently occupying and wish to leave their belongings in their room, may do so without a charge, but they must follow the following rules:

1. All personal belongings must be in the bedroom. No personal items should be left in the bathroom, bathroom cabinets, kitchen, or living room. Items left in the refrigerator/freezer will be removed during cleaning and may defrost or warm up. It is strongly advised that you remove all perishable items from your refrigerator/freezer before leaving.
2. You will still need to check out with your RA. If you do not turn in your room keys, you will be considered a break stayover and charged the $100 fee!
3. Please check with your RA staff to make sure you follow all checkout procedures. DO NOT JUST LEAVE!!!

No other storage is available for students. If you are not living in your summer assignment, you will not be able to leave your belongings in your spring room or your summer room and must make other arrangements for storing your belongings.
