Break Housing is available to students currently living on campus that have an active Fall assignment. Break Housing provides space for students from July 25th to August 14th. The cost for break housing is $400. Students must sign up for break housing in order to stay.

Students are required to move from their summer assignment to their fall assignment on Tuesday, August 5th from 9am - Noon. Students that are not able to move at this time are not eligible to stay for break housing and must check out by noon at the end of their summer class schedule (either EIP, Summer B, or Long Term) and can return on August 15th at 9:00am to officially check in.

Students must sign up for Break housing by July 21, 2008 at 5pm. Students who sign up after July 21st will be charged a $100 late fee in addition to their break housing fees.

STORAGE

Students who will be living in their current summer assignment during the fall semester and wish to leave their belongings in their room, may do so without a charge, but they must follow the following rules:

1. All personal belongings must be in the bedroom. No personal items should be left in the bathroom, bathroom cabinets, kitchen, or living room. Items left in the refrigerator/freezer will be removed during cleaning and may defrost or warm up. It is strongly advised that you remove all perishable items from your refrigerator/freezer before leaving.
2. You will still need to check out with your RA. If you do not turn in your room keys, you will be considered a break stayover and charged the $400 fee!
3. Please check with your RA staff to make sure you follow all checkout procedures. DO NOT JUST LEAVE!!!

No other storage is available for students. If you are not living in your fall assignment, you will not be able to leave your belongings in your fall assignment or your summer assignment and must make other arrangements for storing your belongings.
