University Housing


Welcome to the Eagle Incentive Program!

The Department of Housing is excited you have elected to get a head start on your career at Georgia Southern University. As a way to help facilitate your success, University Housing has developed a special housing program just for EIP participants. One important component of the EIP will be your residential environment. All EIP students are encouraged to live on campus. On campus housing can provide you with programs and services to help you succeed.

Some of these include:

Trained staff members
CLs will live on the floor with you and serve as a valuable resource.

Computer lab access
Nineteen computers are located in a lab on the first floor.

Programs and activities
Academic and social programs will be held throughout the summer.


In addition, you will live exclusively with other EIP students. Because of this, you will have study partners and classmates right down the hall. All of this together is a formula for success! As a matter of fact, 97 percent of the students who lived on campus during the EIP program last year completed the program and were permitted to attend Georgia Southern University in the fall!

Also, because you are part of the EIP, you will be allowed to apply for housing for both Summer 2010 and Fall 2010. This will help ensure you have a space in housing for the fall semester.
